Install on your Mac

No technical skills needed. It takes a couple of minutes, then setup guides you through the rest.

  1. Sidedoor

    Open the download

    Open the file you downloaded. It is in your Downloads folder. It unzips into Sidedoor.

  2. Sidedoor Applications

    Move it to Applications

    Drag Sidedoor into your Applications folder.

  3. Cancel Open

    Open Sidedoor

    Open Sidedoor from Applications or Launchpad.

    If your Mac asks "Are you sure you want to open it?", click Open. Sidedoor is verified by Apple.

  4. Finish setup

    Sidedoor's setup opens in your web browser and walks you through the rest. It takes about 15 minutes.

    Have your license key ready. It was shown on the page right after checkout; if you lost it, email support@yoursidedoor.com.

Something not working?

"It says it can't be opened."
Move Sidedoor into your Applications folder first. Then right-click it (or hold Control and click) and choose Open.

"Nothing happens when I open it."
Sidedoor may already be running. Look for its icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen, or in the Dock.
