Nootropics and Other Legal Highs
Coming from a somewhat “experimental” background, my teenage years of course were all about achieving altered states of consciousness, of which I became somewhat of a self proclaimed connoisseur. Reality was so overrated and I held strong convictions that it should be totally optional.
Over the years, as mental and physical health became more of a priority in my life (I like to live and eat healthy and also practice holistic medicine) I decided that besides opiates and marijuana, there must be something out there that would not only help with cognitive functions (I was taking college classes at the time) but also alter and greatly improve my mood. Okay, that’s an understatement…I didn’t want my mood elevated, I wanted to be able to walk around basically high but completely able to function; even to function at a higher level.
Shouldn’t there be something that would allow me to be more aware, alert, and attentive, while at the same time promote feelings of inner peace, tranquility, and optimism.
It was on…I began to study and experiment with everything that I could research. It had to be legal, non-addictive, not cause liver or any other type of damage, and preferably a natural substance as opposed to synthetically produced crap.
Then I discovered the wonderful world of nootropics. They are termed “improved cognitive thinking” drugs by the researchers and have been around for years. The only problem is that now some companies have gotten hold of the ingredients and put it in pill form along with a bunch of fillers and said, here you go….a memory drug, a mood drug, etc.
This is the first post in a series that I am about to do on true, natural, pure forms of legal highs that have been used by other cultures for years without adverse reactions or debilitating results.
Just as a side note, I am not promoting that you try any of the following herbs, plants or substances. I’m just telling you what I dabble in and achieve a great level of success with.
For instance: when you were in college, did you ever take Ritalin although you didn’t have a prescription? If you did, then you realize it keeps your mind focused on the task at hand and you can cram for exams with super-human strength and mental clarity.
How about Aderal? Ever taken that? It’s for A.D.D. and also helps with concentration. Those two drugs are synthetic, mass produced crap. So, stay tuned for our new HERBAL section, where we will discuss all types of legal highs, where to get them, what they do, how much to take, etc.
Every category from mental clarity to exhilarating high will be discussed.
I’ve sat on this information for years, keeping it to my own selfish use. So, in the next few days I’m going to open the vault….
….stay tuned.
